SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – Bénéteau makes Delphia Yachts the hallmark of sustainability: the new “hiking” and cruising boats for inland waterways come with electric motors – 100% from 2024. Delphia is the figurehead for mindful cruising. Mindful here primarily means noiseless and zero-emission cruising thanks to the fully electric drive by Torqeedo.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – Wellcraft defies the elements: by launching the Wellcraft 355 the US subsidiary of Bénéteau kicks off a powerful series of deckhouse yachts. In the USA this brand is known for fast, open powerboats. With their latest model the Americans are now boldly pushing the envelope.

The Wellcraft 355 is not only the shipyard’s biggest powerboat at present, but also the first with a closed deckhouse. With this move Wellcraft wants to offer boats to people who also like boating in inhospitable climes and heavy seas.

Her design, featuring a negative front screen and sharp inverted bow, echoes the rugged look of work or pilot boats. The deckhouse includes the two-seat cockpit but also a kitchenette and common area with room for five more people. In good weather a sliding roof lets in light and fresh air. The glazed rear wall can also be opened.

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – Quarken - the new motorboat brand is linguistically derived from Kwarken, as the Finns call the Gulf of Bothnia. The complete trio is coming to Düsseldorf for the first time. All three 27-foot boats are adapted to the new V6 outboard from Yamaha with 300 hp. This enables the Quarken 27 to reach a speed of up to 45 knots. At cruising speed, which should be about a third lower, the boat consumes about 1.5 litres per nautical mile, according to the shipyard.

Parker 720

SHERIDAN, WYOMING – January 19, 2023 – A commitment to heritage. The Parker 720 replaces – and even outperforms – the successful Parker 690 Day Cruiser. Below deck the Parker 720 provides more headroom and bigger berths. And the cockpit has also grown and is further enhanced by a bimini – sun canopy – as a standard feature. Numerous details such as bigger storage compartments and a skirting board are further benefits.

The shape of the hull follows the shipyard’s latest research findings. Those planning for longer trips can opt for diesel heating, a closed head, and hull windows. By launching the Parker 720 the Polish shipyard has accomplished a substantial update.
